This is the ideal time of year to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Dumfrieshire. Enjoy the countrysides full flush of Spring, The Daffodils are in full bloom & the Red Squirrels are out and about, we are getting those lovely Scottish Ice Blue skys too. It is the best time of year to explore the delights of the rolling southern uplands & the dramatic cliff top paths of the Solway Coast. or just relax with tea and homemade cakes or a glass of Malt Whiskey in the hotel gardens or in-front of one of our open fires.

Dumfries House & Drumlanrig Castle, Gardens & estate are open for the Season and are well worth a visit.
